Most honour boards run out of room because nobody planned for the years ahead. We design yours so the next twenty names sit exactly where they should.
Sizes to suit your wall
The two most popular sizes are 2400mm x 1200mm and 1200mm x 900mm, and both cover a lot of names. If your wall calls for something else, we manufacture to any size and lay the board out to match.

Names, logos and future additions
Names are applied in precision-cut vinyl, most often gold or black. They can also be produced on individual name plates so future additions stay consistent. Logos can be direct printed or applied in vinyl, depending on the material.
Lettering usually sits around 20mm to 25mm high, though we will recommend the right size once we know your board and how far away it will be read from.

Honour boards, answered
Can you update our existing honour board?
Yes. We add new names, years, titles and achievements to boards we did not make, and match the style and layout of the original as closely as the material allows. Send a photo of the board with your enquiry and we will tell you what is possible before you commit to anything.
How are names added to the board?
Two ways. Precision-cut vinyl lettering applied directly to the board, most often in gold or black, or individual name plates mounted onto the board. Name plates cost a little more upfront but make future additions quicker and more consistent, which is worth considering if you add names every year.
Can you leave space for future names?
Yes, and we would encourage it. Tell us roughly how many names you expect to add over the next ten or twenty years and we will work the spacing out from there, so new additions line up with what is already on the board rather than being squeezed in at the bottom.
Can you add our logo or crest?
Yes. Logos and crests can be direct printed onto the board or applied in vinyl, depending on the material and the finish you are after. If you only have a low resolution version of your logo, our art support team can usually redraw it so it prints cleanly at size.
What lettering size should we use?
Names commonly sit around 20mm to 25mm high, but it depends on the board size, the number of names and how far away it will be read from. A board in a corridor needs different sizing to one at the end of a hall. We will recommend what suits during the design stage.
Do you install honour boards or is it supply only?
Either. We can deliver the finished board for you to hang or our install team can mount it for you across the Perth metro area. Acrylic boards are typically installed on stand-offs, which sit the board off the wall. Let us know in your enquiry which you would prefer so we can quote it properly.
How long does an honour board take to make?
Typically one to three weeks from artwork approval, depending on the size, material and complexity of the layout. If you are working to a date such as a presentation night or graduation, tell us in your enquiry and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you commit.
What do you need from us to quote?
The more information you can give us, the more accurate the quote. Preferred board size, the material you have in mind, the headings, years and names going on it, your logo requirements, any font preferences, how much room you want left for future names, and whether you need installation. If you are not sure on some of it, send what you have and we will fill in the gaps.
Is it an honour board or an honours board?
Both are used and they mean the same thing. Schools and sporting clubs in Australia tend to say honour board or honours board interchangeably, and you will also hear honour roll or board of honour. Whichever you call it, it is the same job to us.
Can you match the style of our other boards?
Usually, yes. If you already have boards on the wall and want a new one to sit alongside them, send photos of the existing boards with your enquiry. We will match the material, framing, lettering style and colours as closely as we can so the wall reads as one set rather than a collection.
